We are concerned with the development of an analysis tool dedicated to the mass-spring networks approach in sound synthesis by Physical Models.
Thanks to an analogy between mechanical networks and neural networks, some algorithms to adapt the parameters of the mechanical network are proposed.
The interaction between the model, the instrumentalist and the instrument to be modeled is discussed and tested. At last, symmetries and differences between analysis and synthesis are discussed, in the case of Physical Models |
